On July 11, the Nothing Phone 2 was released in India, and on Friday, it will be on sale there for the first time. The Nothing Phone 1 debuted in July of last year, and this is its replacement. It features a 4,700mAh battery with support for 5W reverse charging, 15W Qi wireless charging, and a flagship-grade Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The Glyph Interface on the back panel of the new Nothing phone has been improved. It comes in two color schemes and three storage configurations.
Nothing Phone 2 price in India, availability, offers
The Nothing Phone 2’s base 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage combination is priced at Rs. 44,999, while the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants have respective retail prices of Rs. 49,999 and Rs. 54,999. The gadget is offered in Dark Grey and White color options through Flipkart and several retail outlets countrywide.
Axis Bank, Citi Bank, and HDFC Bank credit card holders are eligible for a flat discount of Rs. 3,000 on orders between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 49,999. Customers can get the Nothing Ear Stick for Rs. 4,250 less if they want to purchase the phone simultaneously.
Nothing Phone 2 specifications, features
The Nothing Phone 2 has a 6.7-inch full-HD (1,080×2,412) LTPO OLED display, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a sampling rate 240Hz, SGS Low Blue Light certifications, and HDR10+ certifications. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC made in 4nm, an Adreno 730 GPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage power the phone. Nothing OS 2.0, based on Android 13, is preinstalled on Phone 2.
The Phone 2’s dual rear camera system consists of a primary 50-megapixel camera with a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 sensor and support for both optical and electronic image stabilization and a secondary 50-megapixel camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 1/2.76-inch Samsung JN1 sensor with EIS. A 1/2.74-inch Sony IMX615 sensor is present in the front camera.
The 4,700mAh battery in the Nothing Phone 2 supports 45W PPS wired, 15W Qi wireless, and 5W wireless reverse charging. It has an IP54 rating for protection against splashes and dust. Additionally, the device has USB Type-C port connectivity, WiFi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, and NavIC compatibility. The phone’s touchscreen features a fingerprint sensor integrated into it for security. The phone’s body is 162.1mm by 76.4mm by 8.6mm and weighs 201.2 grams.
