It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and has 12GB of RAM coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. The inbuilt storage can be extended up to 256GB.
This handset also features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. It is packed with a 5,100mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.

The base variant with 6GB of RAM and inbuilt storage of 128GB, China has set the price of Honor X40 at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 17,100).
On the other hand, the handset with the 8GB RAM and in-built storage of 128GB variant has been priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 19,400), and that of 8GB RAM with inbuilt storage of 256GB variant comes with a price tag of CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 22,800).
Now, looking at the top-end variant with 12GB of RAM with inbuilt storage of 256GB is available in China at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 26,200).
