iOS 16 vs Android 13: 7 iOS 16 Features that Android 13 Doesn’t Have

While comparing iOS and Android we often end up comparing their features. Now, in today’s market, we have the newest versions of iOS and Android, which users are very excited to know about. So, here we will discuss the features that iOS 16 brought first and the features that Android 13 users will not have.

  1. Passkeys

If you do not have any idea about passkeys then it is a feature that is used to replace the good old passwords or you can say passkeys are used over passwords. As per its advantages, it is easy to use and is much more secure than using a typical password. This feature is brought by Apple with iOS 16. Maybe Android will incorporate it sooner.

  1. Live Text in Videos

Using Google lens, Android users can copy text from pictures and this feature was lately incorporated by Apple. But in the new iOS 16, Apple added a feature where you can copy text from videos. This can be done by just pausing the video and selecting the text you want to copy from that video. Now translate or share it. However, Android 13 still does not have this feature even on any third-party skins.

  1. Safety Check

Safety Check available on Pixel is different from the Safety Check feature in Apple. The one in iOS 16 is used for the victims of domestic abuse, while the Pixel is for when the user is alone. The Safety Check in iOS 16 repeals and resets the privacy access the users have given to others in case of domestic violence. There’s no match for iOS’ Safety Check on Android or Pixels.

  1. Edit or undo a message

In Android, there is no feature like an inbuilt messaging app. However, apps like Whatsapp, Telegram, etc. have the option of deleting a message. While if we talk about iOS 16, gives a feature to users to undo their messages and even can edit messages. These features are not available in Android.

  1. Track your Medications

Another feature that iOS 16 include is that the users can manage their medications using the Health app in iOS 16. This app allows you to set a specific time for medicine, and you will get a notification to have that medicine. However, there is no such feature in Android 13, but you can use third-party apps.

  1. Unit Conversion

This is not a big feature, but is a handy tool. iOS 16 users can use to convert units within Photos, Notes, Messages, and other apps. You need to tap the unit and the converted unit pop-ups. However, Android users have to use the Google Lens app for unit conversion which is not good as that iOS.

  1. Lockdown Mode

To provide further security enhancements like to prevent your iPhone from any spyware attack, lockdown mode is an extreme security mode that limits the functions. Android does not have any such security features.
