The iPhone 14 series will enable Jio eSIM. Along with the iPhone 13 series, iPhone 12 small, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone XS Max, iPhone SE (2020), iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, and iPhone XS, it is already compatible with those devices.

Make sure your phone is running iOS 12.1 or later before applying for an eSIM.

  • Go to Settings, select General, then select About to view the EID and IMEI number. Make careful to record it.
  • The next step is to SMS GETESIM, EID number, and IMEI number to 199 from the device that requires eSIM activation.
  • Once completed, you will receive a 19-digit eSIM number, information about configuring the profile, and a notification.
  • Send a 19-digit eSIM and SIMCHG to 199 to complete the change.
  • You will receive an update in around two hours that you must confirm by SMSing “1” to 183.
  • You will then get an automated call asking you for your 19-digit eSIM number. You will get a confirmation SMS after the confirmation is successful.
  • If you got a notification to set up the profile, click on it, choose to Install data plan, then click Continue.

  • Type “eSIM registered email id” in a message and send it to 121 to activate Airtel eSIM on your device or convert your physical SIM card to eSIM.
  • Airtel will send an SMS to 121 to validate the process if your email address is legitimate.
  • Within 60 seconds, type “1” in the mail to confirm the eSIM request.
  • If your email address is invalid, Airtel will assist you and have the users’ eSIM activation procedure restarted.
  • Airtel representatives will call you after your eSIM request has been approved to obtain your final approval and to explain the QR code.
  • Users will receive an authentic QR code on their email ID following the confirmation and consent process. After the user scans the QR code, it will take around two hours for the eSIM to be activated.

Steps to Activate Airtel eSIM on iPhone 14: How will the QR code be scanned?

  • Go to your device’s settings and connect to a WiFi network before scanning the QR code that was sent to the business via email.
  • Select the Mobile network and then select the Advanced option after connecting to the WiFi network.
  • In the Advanced Settings, select Add Carrier, then scan the QR code.
  • Click the download button to finish the procedure when the code has been scanned.
