Reliance Jio Launched its First Laptop at ₹19,500: Features and Availability.

Reliance Jio has launched its very first laptop. The laptop’s characteristics and price are available on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The notebook costs ₹19,500 and is advertised as a Jio Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 11.6 Inch Netbook.

Even though it is on sale, not everyone can buy it. On the GeM platform, only government agencies may buy it. The laptop is expected to be available to the public people around Diwali. The JioBook is already on display at the ongoing sixth India Mobile Congress (IMC).

The laptop is powered with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, according to the information provided on the Government e-Marketplace website. It includes a conventional form factor with metallic hinges. JioOS, the company’s own operating system, is used on the laptop.

According to the laptop’s specifications sheet, this laptop has 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The gadget does not support RAM expansion. 32GB of eMMC storage is paired with the RAM.

As for the screen, it is an anti-glare 11.6-inch HD LED-backlit display on the Jio laptop. The screen has a 1366 x 768-pixel resolution and is non-touch. A USB port of 2.0, 3.0, and an HDMI are among the gadget’s ports. Unfortunately, it does not include any USB Type-C ports. However, it contains a microSD card slot.

Wi-Fi 802.11ac is supported on the Jio laptop for wireless networking. It also has Bluetooth connection and Bluetooth 5.2 out of the box. Additionally, 4G mobile broadband connectivity is supported. Dual internal speakers and dual microphones are included with the Jio laptop. This laptop has a standard-sized keyboard and a multi-gesture touchpad.

The Reliance Jio laptop has a 55.1–60Ah battery capacity and can provide power for up to 8 hours. The laptop has a one-year manufacturer warranty and weighs 1.2 kg.
